Company
Twenty-eight years of moving jewelry, watches, fine art, and rare instruments across four continents, one insured, dual-signature handover at a time.
Our story
Meridian started as two bonded couriers moving estate jewelry between Manhattan and Zurich for a single auction house. The problem we kept hearing was the same: “a tracking number that updates twice, once when it leaves, once when it arrives, is not tracking, it is a guess.”
So we built the tracking layer first. A public page that updates the moment a parcel is scanned. A map pin that shows exactly where it is right now. A named custodian for every handover. Everything else, the air charters, the vaults, the customs desks, grew around that single rule.
Today Meridian moves $4.2B in insured cargo annually across 180 countries, with vaults in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Zurich.
Principles
Every scan is public. If a parcel moves, the tracking page changes within seconds. No private dashboards, no delayed feeds.
Every handover is signed off by two people, photographed, and time-stamped. Custody is a chain, not a handwave.
Our estimates are calibrated against real historical runs on each lane, not marketing copy. When we miss, we say so and pay the difference.
